Excursion to Panarea and Stromboli (Aeolian Islands) from Taormina

This day excursion to Panarea and Stromboli from Taormina is a suggestive mini cruise offered by Sat Group that let you explore two of the most famous Aeolian Islands, UNESCO world heritage site since 2000

Departure by bus to the port of Milazzo in the northern coast and proceed to board a private motorboat to the island of Panarea, very famous for its fine architecture and acquaintances of the international jet-set. Visit by sea to the Calajunco Bay and the Zimmari cove. Leisure ashore to visit a typical village, enjoy the beach and have lunch in the local restaurants (extra). Free shopping time in the typical shops on the island.

Back onboard again and sailing around the rocks in front of Panarea. Transfer by boat to Stromboli, an island with a characteristic conical shape dominated by a perpetually active volcano. Tour of the island on the ground until sunset with the possibility to check out the black lava-sand beach. Return on board. Visit from the sea of the "Sciara del Fuoco", highlight of the excursion. It is a slide of lava from where the magma comes out and from which you can clearly admire the explosions of the volcano.

After a full day of sightseeing, return to Taormina in the late evening.
