Description
Everyone's heard of Marsala — a sweet fortified wine that brings to mind the finest Sherries — yet most people wouldn't necessarily know much about it. We dug a little deeper, and we brought back up a few little gems.
Tales of families and techniques handed down from one generation to the next, of old wines almost forgotten, of a territory that deserves far more recognition than it gets. We crafted this tasting as a tour of the various styles of wine you can find in the area, of their stories, and of the heroic winemakers who keep making them today.
The experience includes a tasting of 4 wines: a white, an oxidative-style white, a so-called "Perpetuum" and a fortified, traditional Marsala. Our WSET3 certified wine expert will guide you through each one, helping you discover the history, the aromas and the unique character behind every glass.
