Mount Etna is without a doubt one of the most exciting wine areas of the moment — and you don't need to travel to the volcano to experience it. Right here in Taormina, we bring the Etna to you: volcanic soil, tight spaces, old vines and an incredible microclimate, a special but small place packed with wineries on all sides of it.
We wanted to offer an experience that could give a clear and honest representation of the various products that this area and its winemakers are bringing to life. A comparative tasting, trying some of the best artisanal wines side by side, while pointing out the different styles and the geographical characteristics of the specific places they come from.
The experience includes a tasting of 4 different wines — 2 whites and 2 reds — from different sites around the volcano, all enjoyed in the comfort of Taormina. Our WSET3 certified wine expert will guide you through each one, helping you understand what makes Etna wines truly unlike anything else in the world.
