Scuba Diving Experience in Taormina | Dive into the Mediterranean

This Discovery Scuba Diving experience at the Blue Sea Diving Center in Mazzarò, Taormina, is your gateway to the magical underwater world of the Isola Bella Marine Park, one of the most spectacular dive sites in Sicily.

No previous experience is required. Your PADI-certified instructor will guide you every step of the way, from the briefing to the dive itself.

The Experience

The experience begins with a comprehensive briefing on the basic rules of diving: breathing with a regulator, equalization, communicating underwater with hand signals, and a description of the equipment. Once in the water, you'll dive to a safe depth of approximately 6 metres, where you'll be free to admire the rich rocky seabed of the Ionian coast.

Here, the underwater landscape comes alive with fish, shells and crustaceans typical of the Mediterranean fauna. The sensation of breathing underwater combined with the freedom of weightlessness creates a truly magical experience — two hours of pure fun you'll never forget!

The experience takes place at the Blue Sea Diving Center, the only PADI 5-Star Resort and SSI Dive Center in Taormina, located directly on the beach of Mazzarò bay. The multilingual professional team ensures the highest standards of safety, fun and quality for every participant.

How to reach the meeting point from Taormina

The Blue Sea Diving Center is located directly on the beach of Mazzarò bay, a short distance from the Taormina cable car station. The easiest way to reach it is by car — take the exit towards Taormina Mare/Mazzarò and follow the signs to the beach. Parking is available nearby.

Alternatively, you can take the cable car (funivia) from the centre of Taormina down to Mazzarò beach, from where the diving center is just a few minutes' walk.
