Boat Sail Tour from Giardini Naxos to Taormina

Half day tour on a sail boat with departure from the Giardini Naxos Port and sailing towards the Bay of Taormina. With this tour you will discover the Bay of Spisone, the Bay of Mazzarò, the Bay of Isola Bella and the Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto).

While sailing, you will learn the basics of sailing. Legends and stories about our beloved Sicily we will be narrated by the skipper. During the day you will also have the opportunity to snorkel alone and enjoy a rich aperitif accompanied by a glass of wine included in the price.

The tour is arranged in several stages:

1 - Welcome on board

Once you reach the Port of Giardini Naxos, you will meet the skipper and you will board the boat that will be moored at the pier. It will then begin your experience where you will learn the basic principles of sailing.

2 - Bay of Spisone

The sailing will take you to the Bay of Spisone, where you can take your first bath of the day and practice snorkeling independently (without a guide), with masks and fins provided from us. You will admire the suggestive stone islets that emerge from the waters and the Atlantis Bay hotel that takes up the architecture of Gaudi.

3 - Bay of Mazzarò

You will reach the Bay of Mazzarò, probably the most famous bay of Taormina, known for the thick Mediterranean vegetation which surrounds it.

4 - Bay of Isola Bella

You will then sail towards Isola Bella, historical pearl of Taormina, connected by a natural strip of sand to the mainland. During this stop you will have the opportunity to observe from the boat the spectacular Grotta Azzurra with its heavenly reflections of light.

5 - Aperitif in the Bay of Villagonia

The breathtaking view of Taormina will be the backdrop to your tasty aperitif. We will serve you a chopping board full of local cold cuts and cheeses, as well as oil products and seasonal fruit. Everything will be accompanied by water and a good local white wine. This is also the moment to take your last bath just before the return to port.

6 - Return to the Port

This memorable experience will end with the return to the Port of Giardini Naxos.
