Syracuse & Noto Tour - Full day private excursion from Taormina

Full day private tour  to Syracuse and Noto with departure in the morning. Both  have been listed among the Unesco World Heritage Sites, in 2002 and 2005 respectively.

First stop of the day will be the Archeological Park of the Neapolis in Syracuse, enclosing some of the most impressive examples of Greek-Roman culture such as the Greek Theater, the Ear of Dionysus and the Latomie.

The tour will continue with the visit of Ortygia, the historical center of Syracuse; wandering through the old city alleys, it will possible to admire sites dating back to ancient times, like the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the Cathedral/ Temple of Athena, and the Arethusa Fountain.

Finally, in the afternoon, free visit of about one hour of Noto, considered the capital of Sicilian Baroque: here some of the most beautiful and rich buildings boast the Baroque architectural style; among them the Cathedral of San Nicolò with its astonishing staircase, Palazzo Ducezio surrounded by its massive porch and Palazzo Vescovile, located in the town hall square.
