Take a break for lunch (not included) and then hop back on the coach for the drive to Piazza Amerina to see the incredible Villa Romana del Casale, an old hunting lodge that is home to the planet's biggest collection of Roman mosaics. Go inside the hunting lodge (at own expense) and wander around the rooms. Linger in the thermal baths for a while trying to imagine what daily life was like here over 2,000 years ago. Walk through the dining hall and courtyard. Gawk at the awesome mosaics, especially the bikini girls.

Day trip from Taormina to Lipari and Vulcano, two amazing islands of the Aeolian Archipelago. The Aeolian islands are the patrimony of humanity as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000 and boast spectacular landscapes surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

This excursion, offered by Sat Group, is a mini cruise that gives the opportunity to visit Lipari and Vulcano on the same day. Departure by bus with a tour leader to the port of Milazzo in the northern coast and proceed by private motorboat to the island of Lipari, the biggest island of the archipelago. After landing, it is possible to visit the old town with the Archaeological Park and the Cathedral. Free shopping time in the local shops on the island.

Back on board and sail along the "Faraglioni" and the "Horse’s Cave". Continue by boat to Vulcano and stop on the island with the possibility to make sulfurous mud baths in a dedicated area paying the entrance fee. Alternatively it is possible to spread out on the beach and swim in the Tyrrhenian’s warm waters.

Departure by bus with Tour leader on board to Palermo, capital of Sicily. Upon arrival our local guide will start the tour walking through the Quattro Canti, the Church of the Martorana, Piazza Bellini, Piazza Pretoria, the Cathedral and all the historical center including a local touch with the typical market "Capo".

In alternative to the tour of Palermo, an individual and facultative visit of Monreale, famous for its mosaics.

After lunch, drive to Cefalù on the north coast, an exciting seaside town. Visit of the historical center and the Norman Cathedral with the famous mosaic of Christ Pantocrator.

This day excursion to Panarea and Stromboli from Taormina is a suggestive mini cruise offered by Sat Group that let you explore two of the most famous Aeolian Islands, UNESCO world heritage site since 2000.

Departure by bus to the port of Milazzo in the northern coast and proceed to board a private motorboat to the island of Panarea, very famous for its fine architecture and acquaintances of the international jet-set. Back onboard again and sailing around the rocks in front of Panarea. Transfer by boat to Stromboli, an island with a characteristic conical shape dominated by a perpetually active volcano. Tour of the island on the ground until sunset with the possibility to check out the black lava-sand beach. Return on board. Visit from the sea of the "Sciara del Fuoco", highlight of the excursion. It is a slide of lava from where the magma comes out and from which you can clearly admire the explosions of the volcano.

The day starts with a guided tour of the town's market and buying the ingredients for the class with an explanation from the chef and a small tasting of salamis and cheeses. The market is within walking distance from the Porta Messina Arch meeting point. Back at the restaurant, Nettuno da Siciliano, the chef will explain the dishes that you will make featuring hand-made pasta, and you will start to prepare and cook the food.

A professional sommelier will be on hand to tell you about the history and culture of wine in Sicily. After all the food is prepared, you will get to taste what you have created, accompanied by two selected wines, one white and one red.

Before leaving, you will receive an official certificate and an apron as a souvenir of this special day.

During the Pizza Making Class in Taormina, all participants will follow the advices and the example of a professional Pizza Maker Chef throughout all the steps and then will proceed individually.

Learn from a professional Pizza Maker the art of preparing, decorating and baking pizzas. Have fun with friends and relatives and get a real certificate as a professional Pizza Maker!

The course includes demonstration and preparation by the participants of classic pizza dough and the one with whole wheat flour for bread. The highlights of the class will be roll out and stretch your pizza dough, learn the secrets to a great pizza sauce, create ideas for fun pizza toppings, bake pizzas at perfection.

At the end all participants will enjoy their pizzas with a complete meal including Bruschetta mix, mineral water, soft drinks and local wine.
